November Stanley (he/him) is an illustrator and writer, native to Brooklyn. He received a BFA in Illustration from RISD, and was awarded the Joseph Lefevre Memorial Award for Excellence in Illustration. He was the sole children’s design/editorial intern at HarperCollins, Summer ‘25. November is in love with the complications of being alive, and wants to make books for children about it. He has no interest in underestimating the emotional intelligence of young readers, and takes pride in creating illustrations rich with empathy, depth, and nuance.

He is interested in stories about urban identity, history, nature and its cycles, and the texture of our everyday lives. He is particularly excited to work on picture books and graphic novels.
